I began my yoga explorations in 2001 to cope with a stressful employment situation. I immediately fell in love with the joy and sense of calm I experienced.

I noticed many aches and pains began to dissipate. Moreover, I was not injuring myself doing other sports and felt that any other athletic pursuit was enhanced by my yoga practice.

Later I began to open up to the spiritual elements of yoga and became aware of how much happier I felt and how regular yoga practice helped in other areas of my life. I noticed fewer struggles. Naturally, I gravitated towards people, places and things that engendered harmony.
